It's on top of a hill, and when it rains, it would take you all manner of transport just to get here: a banca, a tricycle, and a carabao-drawn cart. Yes, you read that right, a carabao! But when you do get there, you will be surprised by the almost deafening assault of silence. No blaring of horns. No karaoke-singing neighbors. All you'll hear is the sweet sound of the breeze.
The last time I was here, my friends from high school were with me. It proved to be a memorable retreat, filled with tales worth retelling the grandkids! Abangan!
