JING is a fortysomething single mom of four. She is a writer, editor, and crafts enthusiast.

ERIKA is a budding entrepreneur, who dreams of having her own fashion label one day. She's the mommy of Sophie and the daughter of Jing.

There are good days, and there are bad days. When the bad days get really, really bad, it's easy to just give in to the blues. Mope. Sigh. Wallow. Whatever.

We had some of those bad days a couple of months ago, and they weighed us down. Fortunately, we realized soon enough that it's not what happens to you that's important, how you handle it is.

So here we are at Happy Nest. And we're going to fill it up with all things happy and bright: chocolates and strawberries, sunshine and raindrops, road trips and beach outings, music and movies, light and love!

It's kinda corny, we know. But the really cool truth is, happiness is a choice. One can choose to be happy. And we are!
